Introduction to Blues (8.30 pm - 9.30 pm)
Description: Blues dancing developed alongside blues music. It is an improvised partner dance, which has a relaxed, grounded feel. There is plenty of room for creativity as dancers attempt to translate the mood of the music played. Many Lindy Hoppers also incorporate swing moves into Blues dancing. Level: Beginner (no prior experience required) The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission into class if attendees arrive later than 10 mins after the start of the class Social (9:30 pm) Come and dance the night away with great music and get your weekly dose of exercise in! Do bring your own water as the venue may sell limited amount of drinks.
