Get Ready for Malaysia Day Lindy Hop Special with Lalla & Sunny!
We have something absolutely massive lined up for this Malaysia Day, and you do not want to miss it.
We are bringing two incredible instructors all the way from Busan, South Korea, straight to Kuala Lumpur: the brilliant LALLA & SUNNY. Known for their high-energy style, technical clarity, and infectious joy, they are here to help us move past overthinking and step into the pure, spontaneous fun of Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Solo Jazz.
A Quick Note on Level: We want everyone to hit the ground running, so the prerequisite for this workshop is a comfortable foundation in your 6-counts and 8-counts, plus the Swingout. If you’ve got those building blocks down, you are ready for this!
The Journey: What We Will Explore Together
1a: Sunny Five by Five (1.5 hours) - Solo Jazz | Beginners+ Level Learn a fun and easy Solo Jazz routine with Sunny! We'll build the choreography together and finish by enjoying a surprise guerrilla performance!
1b: Charleston Carnival (1.5 hours) - Solo Charleston | Intermediate+ Level Let's celebrate the joy of Solo Charleston with Lalla! Discover energetic footwork, playful styling, and enjoy dancing together. Let's Charleston!
2: Connection & Flow (1.5 hours) - Partnered Lindy Hop | Open Level
Discover the secret behind Lalla & Sunny's connection. Learn how to create smoother movement, better communication with your partner, and effortless flow throughout your dance.
3: Creative Lindy Hop (1.5 hours) - Partnered Lindy Hop | Open Level
Take your Swingout beyond the basics! Explore creative ideas and exciting variations that will make your Lindy Hop more dynamic, musical, and expressive.
4: Jam Season (1.5 hours) - Partnered Lindy Hop | Open Level
Want to feel more confident in a Jam Circle? Learn how to join, interact, and have fun while discovering a variety of stylish moves and ideas you can use in social dancing and performances.
