Introduction to Balboa (8.30 pm - 9.30 pm)

Get an introduction to Balboa dancing from 8.30 pm - 9.30 pm. Balboa is a swing dance originating from Southern California during the 1920s and enjoyed huge popularity in the 1930s and 1940s. It is danced primarily to up-tempo swing jazz music (~160 BPM and up) and is danced in a close embrace position as well as a more open, closed position. This class is suitable for absolute beginners (no prior experience required). The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission into class if attendees arrive later than 10 mins after the start of the class

Social Dancing (9.00 pm - 11.30 pm)

Dance the night away with great music and get your weekly dose of exercise in! Do bring your own water as the venue may sell limited amount of drinks. 

If you are unable to purchase your tickets online, please take note that tickets can be purchased at the door with cash/bank transfer.
