Sulaiman discovered swing dancing in 2014, and his dedication quickly led him to teaching by 2016. Partnering with Pat, who began dancing in 2015 and joined him in teaching in 2017, they formed a teaching partnership specializing in Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Authentic Jazz.  

Sulaiman and Pat see dance as an ongoing adventure, constantly embracing new movements, rhythms, and patterns. This dedication to growth fuels their teaching, inspiring students to push their limits and discover the joy of swing dance. Their sincere passion for this historic art form is evident in their approach.  

Based in Bangkok and primarily teaching at Jelly Roll Dance Club, they are constantly evolving as dancers and instructors. Their shared passion has taken them across borders to teach, compete, and learn at exciting events like Unfolding Bangkok, Bangkok Design Week, Swing Time Ball in China (2018), Jakarta (2023), KL Swing Fest (2023), Singapore with Lindy SG (2024), and Shimmy Fest in Spain (2024), where they earned 1st and 2nd place in a mix and match competition.
